Jessie Sholl's essays and stories have appeared in The New York Times, Other Voices, Fiction, Lit, and the anthology Be Thrifty. The co-editor of the literary non-fiction collection Travelers' Tales Prague and the Czech Republic (Travelers' Tales Press, February 2006), Jessie is also a frequent contributor to Everyday Health.
Her current project, Dirty Secret: A Daughter Comes Clean About Her Mother's Compulsive Hoarding (Feel free to pre-order here orhere orhere!), will be published by Simon & Schuster/Gallery Books in December, 2010. It is the first memoir written by the child of a compulsive hoarder.
Jessie lives in New York City, where she teaches creative writing at The New School University.
