Jessie Sholl is a writer, freelance editor, and writing teacher who lives in New York City (and sometimes Rome, and sometimes a medieval Italian hilltown). Her essays and stories have appeared in The New York Times and several literary journals, and her most recent book is Travelers' Tales Prague and the Czech Republic. She has been awarded residencies to The Writers' Colony at Dairy Hollow and Ragdale, and has recently completed a novel.
