ABOUT ME 

3-4 things I want you to know about me: 

As a longtime adjunct professor of creative writing, I bring my teaching experience and skills to my editing practice. What this means practically is that when appropriate and desired, I incorporate mini lessons on craft into my book coaching sessions and editorial letters.

Working with me is more of a collaboration than me just pointing out strengths and weaknesses in your writing. My goal is to make your work better as well as to up your writing and editing skills in general, so your next projects will be even stronger from the beginning.


If you’re looking for a more hands off experience (some people are) I’m happy to accommodate that as well. This is one of the things we’ll discuss in our first call.

 so that the experience of working together will not just make your book better, but it will provide you with skills to make your projects stronger right out of the gate. 


I also love writing projects that involve animals, and dogs in particular. A recent client had me do a developmental edit on her memoir about dog dog dog … here’s what she said about the experience:
