I believe everyone has a story to tell, and nothing makes me happier than working with clients to bring their stories to life -- whether through manuscript consultation, book coaching, line editing, help with (the dreaded) query letters, or simply having a virtual "walk and talk" through a specific plot problem.
My approach is encouraging and supportive without unhelpful sugarcoating. I’ve taught fiction and nonfiction writing at The New School in New York City for over 20 years; I’m also a teaching artist at The Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, and an independent book coach, developmental editor, and copy editor.
